We priced and won a relatively small scheme for our client. The main contractor was working on a large warehouse and bottling plant for a Brewery company near Leeds and were placed on a Guaranteed Maximum Price contract.
They let the Section 278 Works on a similar basis. As on many other occasions Schofields measurement expertise resulted in a significant (33%) uplift in the outcome of this so called guaranteed maximum price sub contract in the teeth of strong opposition from the main contractor and the PQS.
